Chitrakot Waterfalls, about 38 km to the west of Jagdalpur, is a beautiful cataract on the river Indravati. Chitrakot, with an awesome height of 100 ft, is also considered a mini-Niagara because of its horse-shoe shape. The main attraction for travelers is the play of rainbow hues on the falls.

TIRATGARH WATERFALLS

 Tiratgarh Waterfalls in Kanger Valley National Park is 35 km south-west of Jagdalpur. This magnificent 300 ft cataract is famous for the play of rainbow colors. It is an ideal spot for a day-long picnic in the forest. The falls can be reached through the state highway of Jagdalpur to Sukma.
