Leander Paes was born in Goa, India on 17 June 1973. He was born to Vece Paes and Jennifer Paes and was raised in Kolkata. His father Vece Paes was a midfielder in the bronze medal-winning Indian field hockey team at the 1972 Munich Olympics. His mother captained the Indian basketball team in the 1980 Asian basketball championship. Paes enrolled with the Britannia Amritraj Tennis Academy in Madras (Chennai) in 1985, where he was coached by Dave O'Meara. Leander shot into international fame when he won the 1990 Wimbledon Junior title and rose to no. 1 in the junior world rankings. Paes showed promise early in his career by winning titles at the Junior US Open and the Junior Wimbledon. He turned professional in 1991.He's currently playing with Elena Vesnina in Mixed Doubles. Paes was admitted to the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando,2003 for a suspected brain tumor that was later found to be neurocysticercosis, a parasitic brain infection, While being treated.

Paes is the great-grandson of the Bengali poet Michael Madhusudan Dutt. Previously having dated Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary, he is now married to Rhea Pillai (ex-wife of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt) and has a daughter Aiyana.
He is the recipient of India's highest sporting honour, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, in 1996–1997; the Arjuna Award in 1990; and the Padma Shri award in 2001 for his outstanding contribution to tennis in India. 
Mahesh Shrinivas Bhupathi is an Indian professional tennis player widely regarded as among the best doubles players in the world with 11 Grand Slam titles to his credit. Mahesh Bhupathi Born in Madras dated 7 June 1974 (age 38). Bhupathi`s mother tongue is Telugu. he became a professional tennis player in 1995. He paired up with Leander Paes, the combination which has worked wonders for the Indian tennis. In 1997, he became the first Indian to win a Grand Slam tournament (with Rika Hiraki). win at the Australian Open mixed doubles in 2006. Doubles Career titles-50. Highest ranking 1 (26 April 1999). Current ranking  6 (5 September 2011).He was awarded the Padma Shri, one of India's highest civilian awards in 2001. Bhupathi is an alumnus of the University of Mississippiin the United States. He was married to model Shvetha Jaishankar, but they divorced after being married for seven years.He then married Lara Dutta, Miss Universe of 2000 in a civil ceremony on 16 February 2011 at Bandra, Mumbai. Their daughter Saira was born on 20 January 2012.  the couple started a film production company together, Big Daddy Productions In 2010. Mahesh Bhupathi has also been involved in developing tennis facilities in India and, along with his company Globosport, has played a key role in developing and managing the careers of many Indian athletes including the new Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza. He got Padma Shri,2001.                        
Sania Mirza  was born to Imran Mirza, a sports journalist, and his wife Nasima in Mumbai,Maharashtra in 15 November 1986. She was brought up in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh in a religious family. sania began playing tennis at the age of six, turning professional in 2003. She was trained by her father. She attended NASR school in Hyderabad and later graduated from St. Mary's College. She is married to the Dubai-based Pakistani cricketerShoaib Malik. is a professional Indian tennis player, well known for her powerful forehand ground strokes. She is the first ever Indian to break into the top 30 WTA rankings in singles and top 10 in doubles. Mirza has defeated many top players, namelySvetlana Kuznetsova, Vera Zvonareva, Marion Bartoli and Former World No. 1's Martina Hingis & Dinara Safina. n 2004 she was awarded the Arjuna award by the Indian Government. In 2006, Mirza was awarded a Padma Shri, Mirza picked up her first Grand Slam title in mixed doubles at the 2009 Australian Open. Partnering with Mahesh Bhupathi. Current ranking No. 9 (16 April 2012). Mixed Doubles- Career titles: 1. Afro-Asian Games-2003 Hyderabad:4 gold medals, Singles and Women's Doubles,mixed doubles with also team. Asian Games-2006 Doha:she got gold medal in mixed doubles event.
